Fake IT support
Essentials plan
A flood of spam, then a "technician" calling on Teams to help: it's a known attack script. If you didn't ask for help, nobody takes control of your computer: hang up and call your IT support on the number you know.

- 3-question check

You will be able to
- Recognise fake support: contact you didn't request, an external account, a reassuring display name, urgency
- Never grant remote access (Quick Assist or any other tool) to support you didn't contact yourself
- Hang up and call IT through a channel you know; if access was already given, end the session and warn at once
