Healthcare pack: practices, clinics and labs

Complete plan

Six short modules for health professionals and staff of practices, clinics and labs: patient data through secure messaging, your card and your session on a shared workstation, apps and health data hosting, downtime procedures under ransomware, the phishing email and the right recipient.

  • 6 modules
  • 19-question check
  • English · Français
  • Attestation

You will be able to

  • Explain why patient data sent by a consumer messaging app, a text or a personal email slips out of the practice's control
  • Explain why working in a colleague's session distorts the record of who accessed patient files
  • Use for patient data only the tools approved by your practice and hosted by a certified health data host (HDS in France)
  • Switch to the department's planned paper procedures, keeping patient safety and identity checks first
  • Recognise the warning signs of a phishing email
  • Check the full address, not the autocomplete

Programme

6 modules · 13 min
  1. Patient data: secure messaging, not your personal phone 2 min
    • Explain why patient data sent by a consumer messaging app, a text or a personal email slips out of the practice's control
    • Use the secure health messaging your practice provides (MSSanté in France), and the tools provided for photos
    • Share only with the professionals caring for the patient, check the recipient in the directory, and report a send through the wrong channel at once
  2. Shared workstation: your card, your session 2 min
    • Explain why working in a colleague's session distorts the record of who accessed patient files
    • Log in with your own professional card (CPS, e-CPS in France) or your own ID, never lend your card or write down its code or your password
    • Lock the computer and take your card when you leave, and report a missing access or a slow tool instead of working around the rule
  3. The handy app and your patients' data 2 min
    • Use for patient data only the tools approved by your practice and hosted by a certified health data host (HDS in France)
    • Refuse free consumer tools (booking, drive, online transcription), even when encrypted or password-protected
    • Re-read and correct every note produced by an AI dictation or transcription tool before you sign it off
  4. Downtime: care goes on 3 min
    • Switch to the department's planned paper procedures, keeping patient safety and identity checks first
    • Tell your manager or IT at once, and plug in no personal device: only the equipment your organisation provides
    • Write everything down on paper with the time, and keep every document for re-entry when systems return
  5. Phishing: 3 seconds not to click 1 min
    • Recognise the warning signs of a phishing email
    • Apply the 3-second reflex: stop, check, report
    • Know what to do if you have already clicked
  6. The wrong recipient 2 min
    • Check the full address, not the autocomplete
    • Use BCC or the right tool for group mails
    • Open the attachment before sending: hidden tabs and columns
    • Share sensitive files through a controlled link, never via personal tools
  7. Knowledge check

19 questions, pass mark 80 %. Explanations after each answer; you can try again.

  8. Attestation

One per person, with the date, the score and the frameworks covered — anyone can check it online with its code.
