Email prospecting, by the rules 2 min
- Tell email prospecting of a professional (possible without prior consent if the message relates to their job, with information and a right to object) from that of a private individual (prior consent, except an existing customer for similar products)
- Check that every email clearly identifies the company sending it and offers a simple, free way to unsubscribe
- Make an unsubscribe count in every tool (CRM, emailing tool, files, contacts) through one opposition list checked before every send

Where does this list come from? 2 min
- Before using a bought or rented list, ask the seller for the source, the collection date, what people were told, their consent or their chance to refuse, and the removal of those who refused
- Inform each contact in the very first message: who you are, where their details come from, how to stop being contacted
- Keep proof of the source of each contact, and set aside then delete contacts whose origin you cannot justify (mass-copied profiles included)
